Solidarity and Support as Ramadan Approaches
A major distribution of Ramadan food packs took place on *Friday, 13 February 2025, following Salat al‑Jumu’ah at **Masjid Sayyidena Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A), Vallée-Pitot. The initiative was organised in close collaboration with **Muslim Family Aid (MFA – UK)*, whose support played a key role in making the project successful.
The event opened with duas and a reminder of the spiritual importance of Ramadan, emphasising that the month is not only about fasting but also about compassion, generosity, and supporting those facing hardship. The message highlighted the responsibility of the community to uplift the vulnerable and strengthen the bonds of solidarity.
They expressed deep gratitude to MFA for their partnership, as well as to all donors and volunteers whose efforts made the distribution possible.
The gathering concluded with the distribution of Ramadan food packs to numerous families, bringing hope and comfort as the blessed month draws near.
The Last 10 Nights of Ramadan
Alhamdulillah, the water well for the villagers is now complete. Last Ramadan, we collected £400 (40 members x £10 each) and thew contribution was used as a Sadaqah Jariyah project – to build a Water well in Madagascar.
This beautiful Sadaqah Jariyah project was donated by the MFA, with heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed during the last 10 nights of Ramadan. May Allah accept it and reward all involved.
The final ten nights of Ramadan hold immense blessings, including Laylatul Qadr — a night better than a thousand months.
