Compassion for families, close to home and around the world
A UK registered charity (no. 1199274), founded in October 2021, helping the needy in our neighbourhood and those affected by poverty worldwide.
Our story
After many years of dedicated support to those less fortunate, both locally and abroad, we established our own charity, Muslim Family Aid. We are a non-profit charitable trust committed to helping the needy in our neighbourhood and extending our support to people affected by poverty around the world.
Our mission
To provide essential assistance to individuals and families struggling with poverty and hardship. We believe in the power of community and in extending a helping hand, guided by compassion, empathy and solidarity.
Local support
- Homeless meals: nutritious food for people sleeping rough in our community
- Food drives: regular collections and distribution to families in need
- Clothing donations: help for those without proper clothing, especially in harsh weather
- Financial assistance: aid for families facing an immediate crisis
Global outreach
- Gaza: essential aid for families affected by the conflict
- Madagascar: clean water wells, Aqiqah and Sadaqah food programmes
- India: food pack projects
- Everywhere: orphan sponsorship, Zakaat, Lillah for building masjids, and ongoing Sadaqah Jariyah
